Boundary Models

2008
The University of Leeds, Leeds, UK

A series of works exploring the function of architecture as both a boundary and a threshold. Drawing upon examples within politics and the media, the sites of speeches - podiums, balconies, and doorways - are relocated and inverted; as a consequence, public access to the private becomes impossible. The works were part of the Master of Fine Art degree show, displayed as 10x15cm C-prints embedded flush to wall surface.
